THE FUNDAMENTALS
UNIVERSAL AGREEMENT TO A COMPREHENSIVE
LAW IS REQUIRED TO LIVE TOGETHER
HARMONIOUSLY AND PRODUCTIVELY
(God gave “the” law for the carnal man at Sinai; Christ elevated
that law at the “sermon on the mount” to guide the “spiritual” man ---
there is no other law that will fulfill the need of man)
INSECURITY MOTIVATES INTRACTABLE
AND OUT- OF- CONTROL SELFSERVICE
(accompanied by a lack of an ability to discern truth ---
“Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of
peace have they not known”: Rom 3:16-17)
A PERSON MUST SERIOUSLY AND
OBJECTIVLY QUESTION BEFORE A CREDIBLE
ANSWER WILL BE OF SIGNIFICANCE
(Scripture provides answers --- “All scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness”: 2Ti 3:16)
GODLY SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING
MOTIVATES PROFITABLE SERVICE
(accompanied by a subjection to truth ---
“Sanctify them through Your truth: Your word is truth”: John 17:17)
Feasts of the Lord
Lords supper: 1Co 11:20 When ye come together therefore into one place,
this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
1Co 11:21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper:
and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
1Co 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat:
this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of
me.
1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had
supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as
oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
See the Lord's supper paper.
First high day: Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast
of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened
bread.
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no
servile work therein. Leaving the ways of Egypt for the ways of God was the
purpose of the exodus and represents a type of repentance.
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one
of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall
receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Peter gave the essence of the first
three high days in this one verse with the Holy Spirit made available on the first
New Testament Pentecost.
Second high day: Num 28:25 And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy
convocation; ye shall do no servile work. Israel went through the sea on this
day.
1Co 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how
that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every
one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
Third high day: Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after
the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering;
seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye
number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.
Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two
tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven,
they are the firstfruits unto the LORD.
Lev 23:21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an
holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a
statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
Jas 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we
should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are
virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.
These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto
God and to the Lamb.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we
shall all be changed,
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first:
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great
voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the
kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and
ever.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the
time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest
give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints,
and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them
which destroy the earth.
Fourth high day: Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the
seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a
memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Blowing of
trumpets is a gross mistranslation. The Young's literal translation is much
better.
Lev 23:24 `Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on
the first of the month, ye have a sabbath, a memorial of shouting, a holy
convocation;
Strong's definition of shouting is: H8643 ter-oo-aw' From H7321; clamor,
that is, acclamation of joy or a battle cry;
There is only one place in the New Testament that can be a
fulfillment of this high day. There are no battle cries anywhere in the
New Testament. There is only one acclamation of joy in the New
Testament and it is the greatest expression of joy in all the Bible.
Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as
the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings,
saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for
the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself
ready.
See "The Day of Teruah" paper.
Fifth high day: Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall
be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and
ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the
LORD.
Shortly after the marriage of the lamb Jesus comes to earth, with his wife, to destroy the working of Satan, the Beast and the False Prophet.
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. For much detail see the "The Day of Atonement" paper.
Sixth high day: Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth
day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days
unto the LORD
Lev 23:35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Lev 23:41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
Joh 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
The last day, that great day of the feast is the great white throne judgment period of time.
Seventh high day: Lev 23:36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire
unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto
you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a
solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
